Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, professional service! Amazing Restaurant!

My wife and I found Al Chianti while visiting Rome on our honeymoon. The wait staff were extremely friendly and we loved the atmosphere. It was quiet and relaxing. We started by splitting the Tagliatelle ragú Lepre (rabbit). It was one of the best ragu pasta dishes I’ve ever had, it was meaty and the pasta was so fresh. I then had the grilled sirloin and it came out on a sizzling hot skillet, sliced and cooked to perfection. There were roasted potatoes and charred rosemary, still burning as it came to the table. My wife had the eggplant parm and she said it was one of the best she’s ever had. It was creamy inside and charred on top to add additional texture. If you’re looking for a bespoke dinner with amazing food and wine at an affordable price, go to Al Chianti

Food and drinks are great! Service was also very nice and friendly! The ham and cheese are definitely worth to try if you are there

This restaurant was recommended by a local. I enjoyed the food and the service. A must if staying in the area.

Absolutely the best food we’ve had in Rome. Great local spot that has been around since 1914. Avoid the crowds and do yourself a favor and stop on by Al Chianti. Hands down THE BEST CACIO E PEPE in all of Rome. ALL OF ROME! Alexandro will take great care of you and make the best recommendations on their menu. Not only did we have lunch here 2 days in a row, I also left my gimbal on the chair in the afternoon. Even though I thought it was lost forever, when we came back in the evening (they shut down in the afternoon) Alexandro did not only recognize us, he had my gimbal handy and ready for me. $250 piece of equipment safe and sound!!! Amazing integrity! Outside the wall, outside the tourist areas well worth the walk, taxi or bus. AN ABSOLUTE STOP! Do yourself a favor and come here immediately!!!!

The best experience we’ve had in Rome. We came here two evenings in a row. The food was incredible. The Italian dishes were spot on and the beef steaks were the best ones we’ve had in a restaurant so far. The service left us speechless. The guys are funny, careful and so full of good vibes. Definitely recommend this place!

Food was good. Ordered pasta and tartare. Reserved one star cause the wine was quite terrible.

Squisito! Stumbled into Al Chianti on a late night on our Honeymoon trip to Rome. Highly highly recommend for a wonderful dinner and very accommodating staff. Trust their wine recommendations. Food looks good, smells incredible, and tastes like Michelangelo resurrected to create the cosmos on your taste buds. Thank you Jacobo for a great evening!
